What we collect and why
Forms collect the details you enter: name, email, team or institution, skills, availability and your message. We use these to review your submission, match suitable opportunities and respond. Basic request information such as an IP-derived rate-limit identifier is used to prevent abuse. Do not send identity documents or sensitive records.
After a successful submission, the website displays a reference confirming that your information was saved. The form does not send an automatic confirmation email or a staff notification email. Authorised staff review submissions in ChallengeOS and contact you separately when needed.
Optional email updates
Newsletter consent is separate from permission to handle an application. If you opt in, we record your request and consent and send only your email address to the dedicated Cần Thơ 2030 newsletter group in MailerLite. Application and enquiry details are not exported to MailerLite or Apollo. Processing can take time; an on-screen receipt confirms storage, not email delivery. Subscribing does not trigger a welcome email or a marketing sequence. Each email update must provide an unsubscribe option.
Storage and access
Submissions are stored in the project’s Cloudflare-backed system and accessed by authorised programme staff. Cloudflare and MailerLite may process information in countries outside Vietnam. We use access controls and keep application content out of the public directory. We retain information while needed to handle your request and programme relationship; you can ask us to review retention or remove it.
Drafts and your choices
Saving a draft is optional and stores unfinished form fields in this browser only. Clearing browser storage removes the draft. Consent choices are never restored automatically. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent. We may need to verify that the request is yours.
Public-source monitoring
The Cần Thơ Neuron monitors approved public sources for relevant publication metadata. Translation services process publication text, not private application forms. Source owners can request a correction or removal through our contact form.
